As a long time Port Orchard resident, I have entrenched myself in community involvement. My husband of 25 years and I have raised our two daughters here. I have been first a volunteer, then an employee of the South Kitsap School District, working primarily with special education students. As a 16 year member of Beta Sigma Phi; an international woman’s service and social organization, I have held several offices and chaired numerous events. I am committed to Girl Scouts, have been a leader for over 12 years, and direct the yearly summer day camp. Last year I became a team leader for the yearly Multiple Sclerosis fundraising walk. With a positive, friendly nature, I enjoy becoming acquainted with people from all walks of life.
